They turned a blow out win into a loss. When the Hornets have second half collapses, they usually are blown out. I don't know how the Rockets didn't capitalize on that terrible third quarter for the Hornets.

David West played his ass off, and not just his usual finesse jump shots. He wasn't going to let the Hornets lose this game.
The Rockets pulled a Hornets. I didn't think any other team was better at losing a double digit second half lead, but the Rockets showed me tonight.
West was crappy most of the game, especially defensively. He was lazy most of the game. He finally played well in the 4th and OT, but overall his ass was terrible this game.

When the Hornets were down two late in the fourth, I though Paul was just going to pass it to West, and West would force a jumper that would miss. That dunk really surprised me.

Who cares. The rox season was over 7 days in. Our team is a pathetic blend of scrappy, semi-talented, height-deprived and very inconsistent players. No star-type player would ever want to come to Houston. Even if they get a star, it will probably be a rental and the player will not even try as this would be a temporary gig.
