Andrew Bynum, who experienced soreness in his left knee during Sunday’s loss to Boston, did not practice Monday but is expected to play against Houston on Tuesday.

Bynum sat out several minutes of the third quarter against the Celtics, but re-entered after having his knee taped by trainer Gary Vitti. He finished with 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting and pulled down four rebounds and had three assists.

Bynum, who missed the first 24 games after having surgery on his right knee, received more treatment Monday, although the injury is not considered serious and Phil Jackson expects the 7-foot center to be ready to go Tuesday.

“We’re hopeful tomorrow,” Jackson said. “He says he’ll play.”

He got Howard in a hole and Perkins in a hospital enroute to back-to-back NBA World Championships.

    Duncan couldn't do it.

Meh, par for the course. He had to deal with two pretty tough frontlines (Cousins has found his game) in consecutive games. He should be OK ...

I love the sky is falling, buzzards circling that is surrounded the team right now...if this doesnt galvanize them, nothing will.

BTW im loving this work from home snow day in Dallas ...

    Duncan could play though Cubb.

He could play, all the way to the ripe age of 34.

Never denied it, but, Duncan can't repeat. We wouldn't a repeated without Bynum doing his thing.

I truly hopes he is 100% throughout the playoffs.

It'd be pathetic to hear excuses from Laker fans because of this 5th Banana on their team not being there.

He wasn't 100% when he put Perkins in a Los Angeles Hospital enroute to back-to-back. His knee had been torn since the Summer of '09.

You wouldn't repeat it if Perkins played.

And it was Bynum who put Perkins to pine shinin'.

What, you think you go back-to-back via peaches & creme, doin' it the right way? The right way never netted you back-to-back.
