Didn't even see the time but I did tell my wife that the shot Duncan missed was almost the exact same one he hit over Shaq before .4 happened.

It was almost exactly the same shot, against the same player, from the same spot as his game winner in 2003.

Are you allowed to even do anything with .1 seconds left?

if you're fisher, you get to take two dribbles, do a double pump fake, pivot, and shoot a turnaround jumper.

That time above the rim was not the 24-second timer, because the Spurs got the ball back with under 24 seconds left after Gasol's free throws. That means that there is no shot clock for the duration. Even if there was, Duncan's miss would have reset the shot clock because it hit before 0.1 and McDyess tipped it in at the buzzer.

If the OP is displeased with the 0.1 discrepancy - it was an obvious mistake by L.A.'s clock operator or the clock on the telestrator. Take the loss with a bit of grace.

I dont think the OP is butthurt tbh.

Seems like he's simply pointing out the irony, that after getting our hearts broken in 04' by Fisher's 0.4 shot we returned the favor last nitee.

Pretty amazing though, that the shot clock went from 0.4 to 0.0 from Dice's hand to the ball simply going into the basket...yet in 04' Fish was able to catch the ball in the air with his back to the basket, land, turn and fade, than let it go in the same time span. If that doesnt prove that thee clock started late nothing will.

If a team can make a long range bomb to beat you in even .6 seconds, or 1 second, you deserve to be beaten.
