He just said on espn 1050 radio that Knicks could have gotten Melo if they were willing to give up 2 out of Gallo, Chandler, Fields. but Walsh didnt want to do it.

Out of those 3 Gallo has the highest ceiling in my mind. Chandler and Fields is not asking too much if you want one of the best players in this league.

WTF Donnie Walsh? Why do you need 3 young SFs? Trade 2 of them and you have a superstar SF and still one of the stud young SFs.

It's a calculated gamble. Melo wants to play in NY. They can just sign him as a FA this summer.

chandler has alot of potential if he can improve his shooting, his got all the tools to be a 2 way player....he needs to be pushed hard on that learning curve
