That's a 10-11 hour drive from lubbock iirc. Of course, we would always run out of beer somewhere around sweet water on any trip out of there.

im not gonna drive straight from lubbock. i got a few of my friends back home in Dallas that are coming too so i'm gonna go back there for a few days, but it's pretty much the same drive.

of course, during spring break, it's good just to have a room on the island. We were forced one year to stay in Port Isabel. the suck level was very high there.
