I know you've reinstalled, but are you downloading the latest version before reinstalling or are you using the same installer you downloaded a while back?
so like in the past 2 weeks? i had to uninstall+remove completely my malware bytes folder/program due to the message:
"blah blah blah something something is not supported by this version of malwarebytes"
on both occasions it happened when i was updating the database.
anybody knows wat the deal? tired of reinstalling tbh
