The NYT's craven, submissive and completely voluntary dissemination of government propaganda in the Raymond Davis matter may demonstrate that government infiltration of major media is no longer a necessity. The press has essentially de-nutted itself.

For-profit media will never allege wrongdoing or expose its advertisers.
In fact, the advertiser buys the media's complicity and silence.
And when a media corp, Fox Repug Propaganda network, has not only profit objectives but VRWC/political objectives, their output is pure .
The M$M hasn't been corrupted by the right or left....it's been corrupted by multinationals and the money it represents...
