He was also allegedly carrying four more cans in a bag.

A 49-year-old man is in Sullivan County Jail without bail after authorities say he showed up for a court hearing on a felony DWI charge drunk and carrying an open can of Busch beer, plus four more cans in a bag.
The Middletown Times Herald-Record reports that Keith Gruber of Swan Lake was an hour and a half late for his court appearance Monday before Sullivan County Judge Frank LaBuda, who asked him if he enjoyed his "liquid lunch."
Gruber said he did, then said he was sorry.
LaBuda sent him to jail with no bail.
I recommend the death penalty. Anyone this stupid has no chance of ever having anything productive to offer society.
Lol dude needs to stay on jail.
Inside jail may be better.
No kidding. If he were a college student, it would be okay. But by the time you're 49 years old you need to have at least moved up to Coors Light.
Defense Attorney: These cans of beer were the same cans of beer found at the scene when he was pulled over for the DWI. As you can see they are full. He opened one up so you can see. We would like to submit them as evidence.
Judge: I am calling a short recess to investigate the newly submitted evidence in my chambers.
