I was defending all year, but last couple of months he's been getting worse and worse, just ing coasting out there.
Forget his 3pt %, he looks WORSE than he did last year.
Outside of the first couple weeks of the season, he has NO aggression.
His shot also looks horrid; the announcers even mentioned it last night.
Man he sucks.

It would be hard to be worse than he was last year, but his down-ward slide this year has been troubling. With Timmy out, he needs to step up accordingly. Last night needs to be an exception, not a rule.
is the thread le suggesting he's more sexually active than last year?
It warms my heart that Bonner and RJ received contract extensions.
Pretty sad how much more I'd prefer to have 38 year old Grant Hill than the overpaid RJ. I guess hindsight is 20/20 though.
Nothing an off-season basketball-basics drill with coach won't fix...
It could go either way.
Actually thought he wasn't terrible last night except that his shot wasn't falling - got to line twice and should of been a third time on drives - and made a couple nice passes - decent defense - just needs to be more aggressive and Spurs need to run more - TD out should give him a few more shots a game but he also plays very well off Timmy cutting to basket - really only took 1 bad shot (well 2 if you count the one he was up against shot clock but had no choice and it did go in)
While he was more aggressive at the start of the year I also think not as concentrated of effort to get him touches - and as much as I love Manu he could certainly give up 2 or 3 ill advise threes a game to maybe get other guys a couple shots
Completely agree. It hit me last night...this is the first year where I've felt like Manu has been more of a ballstopper than TP. I love both, but Tony has moved the ball very well this season and Manu has taken a load of bad shots.
You guys are too hard on . needs to get touches. He needs to penetrate more and get some easy scores. Its hard for , at his age, to just turn it on, he needs to warm up a little before going downtown.
^masterfully executed
True...but right now, is sucking hard and ing the Spurs. He's having a real problem finding the hole.
I wouldnt go that far to say he's worse than last season. We have way bigger problems than him, like the lack of rebounding....
I misread the le first time and I thought "what the...?"
This thread is full of potential.
what's the use of a if not for the purposes of penetration?
I'm excited. Arizona winning tonight sure will get a rise out of Richard Jefferson.
Even Bonner should get seconds on the vibration of triumph from his former chums.
Agreed. Manu is great, but the quick threes look bad when we have players waiting to run plays to get a better shot.
The drop in RJ's scoring month-to-month is very troubling:
October: 17.0
November: 14.7
December: 12.0
January: 9.6
February: 9.4
March: 7.8
WTF RJ? Step up your game.
The guy is soft. He can play but needs therapy. Actually I know a former pro who is now a sports psychologists and has treated some nba players. Maybe he could do something.
