Source close to Lakers SF Matt Barnes says it's unlikely he'll opt out. No final decision, but he wants to try this Lakers thing again.

If he plays like he did pre-injury, I have no problem with this.
Are Blake & Brown under contract?
Yes and no, I think. Not sure if Brown has an opt in his clause, but I doubt Blake only signed for one year, and he will definitely be back. Brown, I think is a FA.
I don't see any reason why Barnes would opt out. After all, he does have the "Blueprint".
lol blueprint
lol fail
Hmm
Well given Fisher returning it looks like unless you pull off the Howard deal, the same Lakers team is returning next year
Hopefully they can use the full MLE on a serviceable PG.
3 PGs???
You guys need a Delonte West type.
Don't think there are full MLE caliber point guards in this summer's free agent market. The best candidate might be Delonte West. Not sure if you think he's worth the full MLE. After him, it's guys like Carlos Arroyo, TJ Ford, Mike Bibby, Sebastian Telfair, Acie Law, and Ronnie Price.
Guess it depends on your definition of "serviceable."
West would be PERFECT
Lakers have 2 major holes
- PG
- Outside shooting
You get both with Delonte
Hawky, what does "Blueprint" mean?
West sounds good. Not sure he's worth the whole MLE, but I'd like him on the Lakers. I'd pass on everyone else. Maybe get something out of Luke.
Matt has strange hobbies that only LA can provide.
Barnes ing the Lakers for another year....
nba= ed
The charminator!
he makes around a mil. nothing really out there better . pre injury he gave the lakers 8 and 3 in less than 20 minutes. pretty good.
I'm not sure, Cubby. Ask Matt Barnes, He'll give you a great definition of it.
lakers need before injury Barnes ...... after injury Barnes was on the levels on Chuck Nevitt and Mike Smrek
