my mom is dead. i'd probably get in trouble if i took her out.
I know it's on Sunday, but I was wondering if anybody takes their mom out to eat or whatever on Saturday instead?
I do it on Sunday, but I'm curious about other people.

It gets harder as families expand. In my family we decided that the "most senior" mother gets Sunday and gets to choose. So, my mom always picks the same restaurant and all the family comes for her. As her daughter who is also a mother myself, I do something just with my kid on Friday night or Saturday.
Mine is in an urn on my curio cabinet in my front room, so I can get away with like that.
