Because, IMO (and I may be wrong), rest is more important than the overall 1 seed.

It is important, but not worth taxing yourself and risk not even getting there. Lets face it, the odds are very slim anyways, so if they get there, HCA is not going to be a huge issue.

What the Spurs don't want is LA at 4 and if the Spurs win, that possibility is open.

I kind of hope Dallas loses. No offense. For two reasons. That way they have to play hard against NO and hopefully knock them to 8th and also because they might fall to 4. They will be tough, but I would rather play them.

This board is better when that happens anyways.
