Only pro-baseball game I've been to was seeing the Angels at Angels' Stadium. Good times.
And Spurs fans are so classy, they would've offered you a glass of wine.
Incredible!
I'm down here in LA for a business trip (at Costa Mesa right now) and decided to hit up the Indians/Angels game last night. Im pretty die hard and i brought my Indians gear with me. It's my first time being at Angels Stadium so i was pretty intimidated ever since the whole situation in Dodger Stadium a few weeks ago when they beat up on a Giants fan. LA is LA right?
Anyways...my nephew and I go to the Stadium with my Indians cap and jersey ...and was greeted with smiles and even some hi-fives by Angels fans. I was like "WTF". haha...i went to my seat and was able to cheer for my team without any heckling. By the end of the night, the Angels fans on both sides of me offered me a beer. They pretty much welcomed me into thier stadium
The Indians won 4-0 last night and on my way out, Angels fans were telling me "good game" and "hope you had a great time here".
I had a great experience. All i can say is i woke up this morning respecting this fan base, and if Spurs fans are this classy, then kudos to you too.

Glad you had a good time. But Angel games are not the same as Doyer games.
I was thinking maybe they were acting nice to me because of what happened in Dodgers stadium, but i guess by your experience, its always been like that in Angels Stadium. If i recall correctly, I think they were voted "best fan experience" in ESPN a few years ago.
Anyways, wine eh...ill make sure I were my Cavs jersey to a Spurs game (if im ever sent that way) and see if that happens.![]()
thanks...ive never been to a dodgers game since the Indians are in the American League. If i did, id probably leave my jersey and cap at home.![]()
Angels fans live in Orange County and are a few rungs higher on the economic ladder than their illegal alien Dodger fan counterparts, so they are much less aggressive and violent. Acting up for an Angel fan is applauding a home run. The only time I've seen an Angel fan do anything that can be remotely considered uncouth, is when he heckled Cecil Fielder for not chasing down a fly ball.
Classy fanbase, but giant pussies.
Pretty much. I would never sit in the outfield at a Dodger game and I'm a doyer fan.
Me too. Ever since they lowered ticket prices and offered that all you can eat deal in the Pavilion, Dodger Stadium has become a warzone.
I doubt you'd get much more than a sympathetic pat on the back if you walked in with a Jamison jersey on...
Ive been to a few dodger games and sat different areas of the park, and it looks like Frank Mccourt spent all his money in the "classy" areas (security, ushers, etc) and left the pavillion and outfield to rot in .
Im an Angels fan and i went to the Dodgers vs Angels game last year in the Big A and everyone had a great time including Dodger fans....im not sure it would be that way at Chavez Revine for Angel fans..
Giant pussies or not, they treated me well and cheered thier team on great (even during a shut-out). good times.
I think that the classiness of Spurs fans is like a Jekyll and Mr. Hyde story. If you conduct yourself well, you won't be bothered and will enjoy the experience. If you are talking , be prepared to be covered in it. I heckle sometimes, but I always have a smile in my face and let the person know I am just ing around. I actually met a couple of my Laker fan friends that way.
Very classy story, though I think Spurs fans are a bit more classier.
So you want to join the classy crowd now huh? Well come right on in!
Since I'm an Angel fan...that make me a classy person right?![]()
Definitely, we are P4P the classiest fans in the entire world.
No. It makes you a misguided southern California baseball fan.
misguided maybe.... but classier then Lakers/Dodgers fan?...yes!
Can't wait to buy my Anaheim Royals season tix, tbh.
same here brah..it'll be alot easier for me then to be driving to Staples
anaheim is not LA. oc is still wealthy and unsuprisignly republican as well.
Alright, fiiiiiine. You got me, DJ. Who's the blank stare chick in your first photo?
