Yup, pretty much...delaying the inevitable. Sacto will rape us tomorrow and we'll be stuck at 3rd seed...meaning the Lakers would have to play Portland in the first round, then go on 3 straight series w/o HCA to win it all with little to no Bynum. It's over. Start drinking and enjoy the memories.
The worst thing for the Lakers is that you have no young talent in the pipeline, AND you're cap ed for like 3 years. Your best young player can go about 60 games and 28 minutes per game, and then he still seems to break down. Your only other under 30 rotation player is Shannon Brown, and he plays like 12-15 minutes.

He hyperextended the knee that was surgically repaired only about 8 months ago. Not good. Not good at all.

It's andrew ing bynum....day to day turns to week to week then becomes month to month, afterwhich he'll delay surgery so he can watch some commy roundballers in south africa.
