pretty much the last things the suicidal spur fans want to hear. but yeah, the realists knew this team had many lucky breaks during the regular season and that the lack of defense and size will eventually doom them.
Is it genuinely gratifying to be right on this matter?
I figured our offense would always keep us in games, and didn't give enough thought to when the Spurs offense is derailed, there's no defense to save us anymore.
You're right. I wouldn't be happy about it, though.
We also said that Pop wouldn't play Splitter until it was too late.
The plan was the problem. As soon at it was decided the Spurs would sacrifice Spurs basketball for the abomination that we see before us their fate was sealed.

It one of the worst things to watch because those fans never accepted the reality of the situation. You deserve every bit of the pain you feel because you blinded yourself to the truth. It's not trolling its reality...and it's nothing I and many others haven't been saying repeatedly all year long. I never hoped for them to lose and I'd love for them to find some sort of miracle formula that gets them back to the Finals...but that's not going to happen. It was never going to happen.

The offense relied too much on the 3 point shot. You can get away with that in the regular season but the open looks are no longer there in the playoffs.
