Who?
Come on Sixers!
They are down 3-1.
Sixers just missing the layups they're supposed to miss, nothing to see here
Yep, again...
Evan Turner does not look like a complete bust after all.
Nope, just extremely raw.
Holiday will be a very good player in 2-3 years and a great defender!
Hawes with some nice passing tonight. But Mario Allen hits again!
Nice shot by Turner to beat the buzzer.
Sixers won't go gentle into that good night
Lou Williams with a great half so far, 0-11 or what?
Seems like most of them were layups too
That´s what i thought!
No one is talking about Celtics vs. Heat. That will change soon....Can't wait to see the games, and the excuses whoever loses each game presents!
Still got your money on Boston?
I initially thought the Heat would roll over the Celtics 4-1...but I'm starting to wonder about them. The Heat are scared of the Garden and they handle clutch situations terribly. Good thing they have HCA though.
Maybe you missed my posts.
In the fall, yes I was all Boston.
After Perkins trade, I flip flopped to the Heat.
Someone has a thread recently about the upcoming series, I posed a question, didn't make a thread about it. Question was, who takes the bigger hit by losing. See, this matchup was supposed to be in the ECF, with the winner riding the momentum into the finals. Now it's possible neither will make it that far. Losing in the 2nd round has to suck for whoever gets beat when championship aspirations were high for both earlier. In some minds, they still are, for both.
I came to the conclusion Boston takes the bigger hit because this is their last shot. Miami is just getting started. So, with Boston's backs more to the wall, that gives them a small intangable advantage to maybe make up for lack of home court.
So, my latest call on series is a tossup. Miami wins the odd games, Boston the even, and game 7, who knows?
I'm hoping it's a good series. And by good, I either mean the Celtics win in a tough, hard-nosed battle...
Or they sweep.
Really, as long as the Celtics are in the next round, it's good.![]()
I agree, but homecourt helps Miami with the concerning issue that Bosh is nutless on the road.
Also, I didn't mention Wade doesn't want to be 0-2 on these Celtics and LeBron doesn't want to be 0-3. If this is truly Boston's last shot, then it's the Heat's last shot on them, as constructed, as well. Lately I am thinking more towards Miami has got this. However, like the Spurs, you can't write the Celtics off, just yet. Let's see what happens when it starts, I am sure many will change their minds. Problem is, I don't see much banter on this series, ahem, make that WAR.
I'm not watching the game so... wtf is up with Chalmers? Is he getting wide open 3's? Or is he just on his game today?
