It was definitely intentional - not even a token play at the ball. It was hard enough. And it was above the shoulders. It would be way too inconsistent if they didn't suspend him. It's a shame, too. I've been impressed with the way Artest has kept his head this year. He's a good player when he doesn't get all crazy like. I was hoping, for his sake, that he had sort of turned a corner and left all that behind him.
Yeah, he'll be out for Game 3. That will give the Lakers the excuse they need, since Bynum has been healthy for both of the first two games.
