Ina world of hype, Terry just wins.
What do you guys think about Jason Terry getting a ring? Are you guys for or against it?
tbh from what i've read around here it seems you guys have a lot of respect for Terry (as I expect from such a classy fanbase). He's had a long, productive, humble career and it seems that Spurfans have embraced the thought of him getting a ring.
As it should be because i don't recall him ever having beef with any San Antonio players over the years![]()
Ina world of hype, Terry just wins.
I thought he already had a ring from 2006, no?
jason terry.
Umm...what? Is today April 1 or something?
I loved turtles when I was a kid, actually kept a few as pets.
I think the primary reason Spurs fans don't like him is because he plays for the Mavericks. Sure, his mouth and some of his actions add fuel to that fire but I'd guess that if he came to SA, some people would forgive his Dallas antics if he helped bring another ring to San Antonio.
My personal opinion: Don't really care one way or the other if he gets a ring. He's a good player and a hard player. If he gets a ring, it will be because he did his part to earn it.
him he's a nut puncher and is probably the reason why the economy is so bad
Yeah I have noticed the same, for many of these Spurs fans they hold him in high regard like they do with MJ, I have heard many on here utter the words "trade timmay for him" and "Terry>Ginobli", Jet is probably one of most humble people in this world, he wins with grace, and loses with grace, he and MJ have about the same ammount of talent but that is what seperates him from MJ, his classiness.
So you're saying you've never seen that gif of Bowen karate kicking Wally Scerbiak in the face, I'm sure its only been posted around here 2 million times at least.
You're comparing an unintentional kicking to a deliberate dead ball nut punch?
Bump cares about spurfan's opinion.
I take it you haven't seen the gif, it looks very intentional (the kick). He extends his leg outward to meet Scerbiak's face ffs.
Should I have asked this question to Laker fans instead?
Bowen was defending him.
Since when does defending entail giving a guy a leaping front-kick to the chops?

Bowen was dirty but since he was on the Spurs it was ok to us, if we had Jet we wouldn't care for his antics we would be mad at him for his playoff performance nothing else
Bowen was coming in to block the shot but Wally made a move to the basket.
I wouldn't have been too upset with last night's performance. He more than earned his paycheck with his timely shooting and key steal of Haslem which led to the 3 on 1 fast break.
And usually when guys try to block shots they lead with their front foot. Damn, you got me.
You're nuts. Bowen was in the air when Wally decided to take it to the basket.
so sticked his leg out to kick him, classy
I'm nuts? How'd he end up with his front foot almost perpendicular to his body?
I'll let ya in on a little secret... Bruce Bowen was a dirty basketball player. Doesn't mean you have to hate the guy or anything. He was damn sneaky about it too, and he never lost his temper (like Andrew Bynum or Derek Fisher for instance) which was pretty cool but the fact remains he was a dirty player.
Now say it with me, "Bruce Bowen was a dirty player but that doesn't mean I have to hate him".
I'm not saying that Bruce didn't have his dirty moments. It's what made him such a great defender. But I don't think in this instance, it's as bad as it looks. That's all I'm saying.
