When I first saw a trailer for this movie, they didn't include the gay music with it. They just showed the train derailing and the 'thing' in it trying to bust out. It looked pretty ing money.

Now after seeing the trailer with the kids and gay music, it's ed.

I too was excited after seeing the first trailer that was released. Now, not so much.

I still think it's going to be good.

And Cloverfield was mediocre. I really hope this whole handheld, shaki/queasi-cam fad dies a quick, violent death.

I think I'm going to go see this tomorrow. I think they realized they pushed too hard of an ET vibe and they scaled that back on the latest trailer. I still have high hopes because JJ always delivers so we'll see.

Saw it last night, and it's good. Fun movie. It's a 2 hour Spielberg asskiss session, but it's done well, and the kids are terrific. Everybody in this thread ing about how the kids are the central characters is stupid, the kids make the movie. This movie would have been far tier if it was just another R-rated monster movie. Not an all time classic, and the ending is way too sappy, but other than that it's a fun movie. What they show during the end credits is terrific too.
