Saw that on attack of the show, was hilarious. I never did fireworks as a kid, I feel like a piece of me is missing.
I used to get a gross of Hammer Heads/M-80's & a gross of Cherry Bombs ($25 a gross!) every 4th when I was in Junior High. This was high quality from the Carolina's. They'd come in square wooden boxes with saw dust cradling them. I'd tear all over Brook Park, Ohio for the next 3 months blowing up anything that didn't move: mail boxes, can's, throwing them into pools. It would completely open & flatten a regular size rural mail box. It was incredible. The wicks were 2 inches and water proof. I still can't believe how reckless I was. I'd light it & throw it. There was no room for error, but, when you're 14 you don't think about that.
Old school Cherry Bombs were the . My brother used to blow up all kinds of stuff with them.
