My blood type is O negative and recently I decided to research it and see what comes along with that. I looked up things like type of diet that is beneficial, at ude, rarity, etc. Well upon my extensive googling I came across this.

It is pretty much saying that MiamiHeat, Tlong, whoever else here is and myself are aliens. The only reason I know MH and Tlong tlong tlong tlong tlong are is because of the thread I bumped.

Don't really have a preference. Any type will do.
O+ A+ and B+ are the most common and then O- so it's not that rare. Like 5% of the population I think. AB- is the one that's super rare
A-. I've heard that one is pretty rare as well.

You cut yourself and then let a few drops fall on paper. Then you burn yhe paper and the color of the flame will tell you your blood type.

In general AB types are the most rare. Also, Rh negative folks of any type are much more rare than positives.
O negs are universal donors and AB pos folks are universal recipients.
Caution though: These rules are a bit different for plasma transfusions.

As for Rh negative - from March of Dimes (Rh factor can play a role in miscarriages if the woman is Rh- and the man is Rh+):
"In the United States, about 15 percent of the white population, 5 to 8 percent of the African-American and Hispanic populations, and 1 to 2 percent of the Asian and Native American populations are Rh-negative (American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists [ACOG], 2006; Moise, 2009). Being Rh-negative does not affect a person’s health in any way. "

O-, CMV-. They are constantly calling b/c they want my blood for transfusions for babies. They want it so bad, they should freaking compensate me for it (but I give every eight weeks anyway).
O negative isn't extremely rare, but it's the most "in demand" type. There are always shortages of it. Once you give blood the Red Cross will never leave you alone.
AB+ for me.
