Great post at one of my favorite blogs:

It basically says that European clubs are tired of FIFA's bull and they're more likely than ever to tell them to go screw themselves when the time comes to renew the agreement that releases players for international compe ion and for Champions League/Europa.

lol corruption
this has been on since the 90s man, they hated fifa and what it represents...
the g7 or g14 big clubs wanted out of their local leagues and EUCL and create their own league
fifa doesnt govern if it doesnt benefit them in any form or way...they are a organization useless fcks just like the EU...
incredible article! I hope this also means that technologies for fairness in dubious plays would eventually be considered too!
To be honest - if you like international football you should be hoping FIFA gets their straight and that they can come to an agreement because otherwise the future World Cups would be in serious jeopardy.
Imagine if something happened that forced a WC or 2 to be missed...the whole world missing out all because a couple of rich re s can't get their together and act like adults. I just don't get it. These clowns don't need any more money, it's not like guys such as Blatter and Grondona stick around for years because they believe their service to their organizations is benefiting anybody. These ers love power and do everything to keep it, it's about time they roll over and die.![]()
As somebody else said, this has been going on for a long while. The thing about FIFA though is that they'll have no problem paying off as many as they need to pay off in order to keep the status quo.
The difference is the public opinion right now. The blog post says that is why the situation is different - and if you go by the comments being said by some very important people then I definitely think there is cause for concern.
