Aye!
Go back to spursreport.
The Spurs don't need to lock themselves into signing him right now. They should wait out free agency and training camp to see who emerges.
He cut them a long time ago.
Gist is a decent college player.
James Gist will lock the Spurs into signing him.
Gist has already signed himself!
It would seem Gist was one of the ones who emerged during the summer league.
The reason Gist hasn't signed is because the Spurs are signing with him.

Gist should be a Spur at some point next season...didn't see enough of the RMR to tell how much more work he'll need to become a regular...The thing that worries me a little is that Ian looked good for the Toros and has looked inconsistant at best in SL....if Gist ends up in Austin hopefully he'll progress a bit more.
I like to call this dunk, "The Statue".![]()

Doods WTF? Another "Gist is Phenomenal" thread? Bring it on baby!!
It would be a sin to not sign the Gist.
Sign James Gist...who the is tolliver?? DId any of you guys in this forum think he's better than Gist??
His signing does not really effect Gist. Gist will get a look.
