, how often are you buying hard drives?
Shattered my old record this month, looking over my shoulder for TW (Knock on wood).
Not that I had a record or anything but I usually use less than one hundred gigabytes, but sometimes as much as three hundred.
This month: 612GB, ouch.
, how often are you buying hard drives?
I got a 2TB drive off Craigslist, I don't know about a year ago, and it's startin to swell.
Like I said that's not normal for me, it's quite high. Doesn't help that my son started using OnLive.
550gb was my max per month...
then i bough 2x 2tb drives
now i just cbf dl no more or lining them up for overnight dls...just to lazy
How do you figure out how much bandwidth you've used though?
Damn, doesn't Oz have nasty bandwidth caps?
DDWRT Firmware logs it.
I dl a cd like every 6 months
Most I ever downloaded at home was like 250 GB. Definitely not doing at home with a 60 GB cap ( Canada).
Once when I was in grad school I downloaded 300GB in a week, though.
yeh they do, but you get what you pay for, do you want speed? service? cap?
i prefer the bigger cap and speed, even though all the company providers throttle speed during peak hours anyway...
im payin 60per month for adsl2+ connection dl speeds 1700kbs...so i aint complaining...
now with the new fibre infrastructure being built down here, i dont think ima touch that bull 100mb connection, the plans are a fkn rippoff...most of the plans are above 100bucks per month, ranging from 8/12/24/50/100mb speeds for ty cap packages...oh yeh govt filter also![]()
I'm approaching 4TB this month that's just download bandwidth
Holy , what are you downloading?
i do seo work and a few programs i use , are bandwidth hogs. i do a lot of article marketing and use a program called xrumer.
