Kobe Bryant was a perfect little angel at St. Therese of Carmel Church according to parishioners who tell TMZ they only saw Kobe praying -- and they've never heard of his mysterious accuser.
Several people at the church are backing up Kobe's denial of a scuffle with a fellow churchgoer last Sunday. Kobe allegedly thought the guy was taking pictures of him on his cell phone.
Church members tell us, no one took pictures during the service ... and they definitely didn't see Kobe grab anyone's phone.
In fact, we're told, no one on the church staff has even heard of Thomas Hagos ... the guy who allegedly tried to take the cell phone pics.

Kobe probably dropped $50,000 at the church to get them on his side. you really think they are going to rat him out over the guy that he assaulted who probably didn't he anything to the church?

what kind of church keeps tabs of every single person that approaches it??? this is pure BS. churches are "open to the public" which means anybody could have been there.

son the Kobe assaulted a man IN CHURCH of all places just because he thought the man was taking pictures of him on his cell phone. now the church is covering it up for Kobe because he made a big donation to them.
Kobe is money, even in the church.
I wouldn't doubt that any church Kobe hits up Sunday gets a big donation. So that certainly would have played in his favor.
but again BR, why do you care? Your favorite league of rug munchers is still in season ...at least I think it is going ... I watched one half of one game, and it was wretched. Sure Bird, taurasi, Becky, Candace and some others can play but they definitely don't have enough talent to stock that league.
Back to Kobe, the only off-season stuff I care about is who is playing in these summer rec games (not NBA comp but still entertaining), who is working out, on their game and who is not. Kobe "bruising" some guys wrist in Hollywood is such a non story. Sean Penn, Ruseel Crowe have done so much worse to dudes taking their picture ...only in the no star, berg cities would this be entertaining ... or news-worthy.
