Next time, just get close to her and start going, "yeah, yeah, ooooohh, I know that's how you like it ".
Do any of you do this? Specifically, on my commute on the train in the morning a girl in a seat next to meet spent the entire ride on her cell phone while it was on speaker.
Is this a social faux pas or am I just cranky?
Next time, just get close to her and start going, "yeah, yeah, ooooohh, I know that's how you like it ".
I don't even use speaker phone when I'm by myself. No, you're not being cranky.
No racist
"girl in a seat next"
lean over and listen intently
At that point, you should have joined the conversation.
Pussy.
Isn't it just like sitting right next to two people talking to each other? Or maybe it is just the sound of the voice on the speaker?
I think it's rude. But next time, join the conversation.
Except much louder and with an annoying "beep" every time someone stops speaking.
That's very rude. I've also noticed more and more using that BoostMobile walkie-talkie-type thing (the one that beeps). I suppose it is some kind of international service, as I've only ever heard people speaking Spanish on it---and it is annoying as also.
But yes, Manny, you are just plain cranky![]()
I think she was hispanic
Definitely not Jewish because it happened before 8:00 pm
Just get this
LOL oh snap. Thats bad ass.
Social faux pas. Definitely.
And I hate the cell phones that have the walkie talkie feature. Hate.
I hate those damn walkie talkie functions. You should have leaned in and yelled, "Over!", into the phone every time she finished a sentence.
I didn't hear any beeps just this girl conistently talking about face book and weekend plans at 6am. Spurm is right in that it is much louder than normal conversation, however. I usually wouldn't notice as I normally am listening to a podcast, lecture, or music via headphones but I left my ear buds at home this morning.
Oh my god. I hate the walkie talkies. People use them when they're shopping. Really? Stupid.
Now there is a shrieking child in the car. She's on the other side but she's not stopped screaming since we got on.
I learned my lesson. Never forget ear buds. EVER.
On the other hand the view beats the out of traffic on the freeway.
wow
...and relatively cheap, too.
I'm pretty sure cell phone jammers are illegal.
