I thought TS% was the fair way to compare players because it takes everything into account.
One of the most overrated players of all-time. is definitely a TOP 20 player of all-time but the media hypes him up to be so much more than that. His last 10 or so all-defense nods have been handed to him with no merit. And the media conveniently ignores that without a premier bigman on his team hes done no better than players like Tmac, VC, or AI. Could be argued that he did even worse.

Probably because Gasol spent most of that season with the lowly Grizzlies so he didnt get any all-nba or all-star nods. Kome wouldve led the Lakers to another 1st round exit without MVPau

Now you're back to being re ed. When they were in first place in the Western Conference before the Gasol trade, the had a relatively soft schedule, a losing record against playoff teams, and were 1 and 5 against Boston, SA, and Detroit, the other championship contenders.
It was fool's good, and the Lakers before the Gasol trade weren't as good as their record indicated.
