I almost met him but I wasn't in the market for a new car at the time.
He was at the local Best Buy, I cut in line and noone said so I only had to wait like 5 minutes. He was wearing a championship ring and a bad ass Iceman hat...i want one of those hats man they were pimp.
I have met him once and I have also been told to "Please shut your mouth and remain quiet" by Johnny Moore.

Oh sorry. I think I've met Mr. Gervin a couple times. And I say Hi to him in the hall underneath the SBC Center if I see him.
He seems like a really nice guy. He's got charisma.
I've seen George Gervin like 23423132123 times. I don't even flinch anymore. I've actually played basketball quite a few time with his son Gee Gervin (who sucks).
One time I went up to a local college to play basketball. The door was locked so we got someone who works there to open the door. Inside was Gervin and the whole University of Houston basketball team holding an illegal practice.
But yeah, Gervin is even cooler in real life than he appears to be on TV. He might be the coolest human alive.

Stood next to him during Jay Howard's post game show at the Alamodome once. Got his autograph on a Spurs hat which I no longer wear and have stored in a very safe place.
