Pearl Jam's "Ten" turning twenty a month ago.
Here are mine:
Thinking about my old high school years.
Certain music... I go back and listen to music that was pretty appealing to me at the time only to eventually feel old that it came out years ago.
Making conversations with women only to find out they are 2-4 years younger than me (coming out of high school or college).
Paying bills.
Can't think of any else at the moment, but trust me, a lot more should be mentioned here.

Muscles ache for no reason. Hangovers last the whole day.
There's nothing wrong with talking to younger girls, being a man allows you this perk.
Graduating college in the spring. Feels like I just started. Fastest 4 years of my life and I don't expect it to slow down.
When I hear folks say that Taco Cabana has good bean and cheese tacos (or at least better than Las Palapas), but they don't remember the early 90s when TC actually had good bean and cheese tacos. wha da mane and/or womane?
Seeing my son transition from big toddler to actual little boy capable of holding real conversations, not just him making random observations.
Everyone around me getting married and having babies left and right. Don't feel all that different physically though.
having a kid makes u feel old more than anything else, thanks a lot to my barren gf damn it we're bout the same age in the mid 20s but we still feel juvenile as . a fat friend of mine who's also bout my age is a daddy of two now already and he looks like a decade older than me
Are you complaining about this? Having kids, esp in your early 20's, is almost as bad as a death sentence.
tbh i feel it a bliss that i don't have to marry a black woman when im only 22 years old![]()
Not being excited about my birthday (28th), and being unable to think of anything to request for a gift. Not that I'm one of those people that throws a fit about my birthday; we're all getting older every day. I just find myself feeling more and more indifferent about it each year.
Seeing pro athletes who were born in the 90s.
Finding gray hairs.
Having the kids tell me that my taste in music or movies is lame.
Actually having to pay attention to my cholesterol and BP.
Checking out the back seat when car shopping.
Reading some of the posts in this thread.![]()
It never fails for me: Remembering what places USED to be. For example when there USED to be a Builder's Square by what USED to be Crossroads (I still call it that because the other name is ing stupid). Remembering when there used to be a JC Penny by that big shopping center they closed off Fredericksburg Rd. When that's gone I'll be able to reminisce about when it used to be a Flea Market, etc. Right now it's just empty buildings.
Some others: Montgomery Wards, KMart (Still in business but not here) Woolworths, Puff N' Billies (spelling?), etc.
I don't know. Haven't felt old yet.
When your grandson gets his driver license.
When you get the invitation to your fortieth high school reunion.
That's more like it!
The rest of you ers get off my lawn!
(I'm 30, but still get the off my lawn)
My daughter being half way through with middle school.
Seeing the nursing students at my hospital. They get younger and younger every year.
mall was originally Wonderland, then Crossroads (I have still called it wonderland the whole time), now it is back to Wonderland.
Having a senior in high school and of course looking in the mirror.
people in their 20s making "feeling old" threads
When people say 'Justin' they mean Bieber, not Timberlake. geezus, I am old.
oh, and what jman said about people getting married and having babies.
Yep. I heard Metallica on the classic rock station for the first time last year and suddenly understood why my mother used to get upset when we heard Aerosmith on the classic rock station when I was a kid![]()
