I posted this in another thread ...but I thought these unknowns' vocals were so damn good ...I will add them to this thread...80's song by TOTO covered nicely...
Post any interesting "youtube gems" here...
Here is one I had never seen (especially in HD)...
The ENTIRE performance -Live on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1965...
Different times for sure...but those "live" vocals beat the heel outta today's Auto-tune & lip-synch "performers"
Also...this was before "choreography" was a "must" for every song...

Are we talking music? Or just videos in general?
tbh I came across this the other day. I could watch it 100 times and still laugh hysterically everytime. Some lady gets clobbered by a flying trashcan in this storm
you know you're a loser when you comb youtube for videos.
Yeah, anything....
There are some really odd things out there and they all seem to find their way to Youtube...
I used to have this recorded until my dad recorded over it (ah, VCRs). I found the entire concert on YouTube including the songs that were not aired.
Old Greg ftw.
I'm gonna have that stupid sax in my head all night at work...thanks!
Holy Mullet!!!!!!!!!!!
dam it I was gonna post tony vs paul
or well here is one that I thought was interesting.
Funny as![]()
speaking of sexy sax man.
Lol,im from that area, wher the sexy sax man plays.
The Beatles were awesome for their time, but that's standard video. Not HD.
You are probably right...but TV in those days was pretty grainy and ty...
this was probably the best quality of those shows that I have ever seen...
There are a bunch of things to see in those shows...
the audience wearing their sunday best clothing, the times, the lack of special lighting for a marquee event, the unadulterated music, the untouched vocals--mistakes and all...
just a capsule of 1965...not better or worse than today...just an interesting time capsule....
and if you click on the video (only in the first few seconds---) you can view their other 3 Ed Sullivan performances which are all pretty awesome...
I thought this was pretty cool!
Just found this...clever BMW ad...the 1 series is still relatively affordable...good bit of driving--
debatable as to whether these are really concrete walls...but still entertaining...
