$95 for two baloons? Wow! I dont see the hype but whatever, i've wasted money too.
Should have checked my email days sooner. Air Swimmers are back in stock, but only the shark. The clownfish is sold out, and so are the replacement balloons. Ordered 2 of the sharks today.
$42 each, $11.75 S&H, $95.75 total.

It's unique. They are more than just balloons. When I first saw them a couple months back, I had to get them.
Did you watch either video?
they do look pretty cool actually
what happened to your older ones u got a couple months back tho, did they pop? do they not last?
I never got one. When I went to order, they were sold out. Just had the email notification they were back in stock when I opened my email today, so I'm spreading the word.
I watched both videos, i just don't get the hype unless of course there's a 1000 cats around to spook.
For $42, or $92, i could think of plenty of things more worthy but then again we've all wasted money before.
Well, I'm one that's willing to spend that much money for a unique novelty.
I've wasted countless dollars in the past, and am more cautious now. Still, I think this will be worth it.
Here's the original thread:
On man, Iv'e got to get one of these...
U guys have Frys electronics down there? I saw a bunch of them in the checkout lane at the Phoenix Frys
No Frys' in SA, though I think they're in Austin. Too bad, as they curbstomp Best Buy on both selection and price.
Those things are awesome. Some guy has one at my company and whenever we bring in rookies he'll use the shark to attack them lol. The other employees around hims tart doing the jaws attack music.
Holy ...
You're right!
Fry's: Air Swimmer
It is waaaaaay too expensive, but if I had the cash, I would probably buy one. That is freakin awesome!
They look kinda fun. Don't you need a helium tank though?
Yeah. You need a helium tank. the one I bought didn't work. I put it together correctly and the IR remote control didn't work. It wouldn't do . I sent it back to amazon and got my money back. They have actually come out with a radio remote control one now but the way prices are dropping now i'll wait a few months to replace it.
The other issue is those ers are big. You better have room to store it (inflated) and if you don't tie the er down it drifts all around the house with the prevailing air currents, gets sucked into ceiling fans, etc.
much more fun and useful

Are those kids seriously scared by a balloon?
Just got my two sharks delivered today. I was going to check the remote, but my daughter must have used the last of the batteries and not told me we need more. Still have to get the helium too. May be a few days before I get it tested.Don't have clue. In theory they should last some time. You will need to refill it on occasion, and replacement skins are available for $6 if you damage one.
Yes, a tank is required, or you can talk someone into filling it for you that uses helium.
Bought some more batteries and filled the Shark body with helium on Monday. Ran out of time Monday as I was busy doing other things. Got it together Tuesday. The thing works great. Took it to work, and flew in around in our 350 x 550 ft building. Scared a few coworkers, and everyone loved it.
