Then there was that old lady...
Old Lady...anything you looking for in particular?

OL...want some coffee?
me...sure, thanks.
OL..my son likes to (as she pours the coffee asking me what I want in it) read. He's a big fan of weaterns. You read westerns?
me..(as I notice there are no books/music)...big Louis L'Amour, Luke Short. J.T. Edson, Zane Grey fan.

My greatest deal was probably, that Time/Life Country Music series they put out on 12 tapes some years ago. The top Country songs for each year, late 50's to 1970. I got the complete series...2 bucks.
The best deal is books however. I don't care who the author is or how important the book...quarter/50 cents.

I read a story the other day about some dude who paid $14 bucks for a Picasso at a rummage sale that is said to be worth 6K.
I heard about that.
The trip is you never know what you might find. And everything is so cheap, totally out of wack with actual worth. I have well over 10,000 books but only about a 100 where I paid the actual price.
I do stay away from things you have to plug in.
