Calm down I know he can't but I feel for the kid....small market owners completely ed the kid over....the NBA has certainly seen it's better days...Paul should tank the season...I know I would...the owners who hated on us will pay for this...Paul will get them back out of spite....

all this time you've been staunch in your rejection of Paul...I applaud you for it...for me it was a gamble...I'm concerned about his knees it could be a blessing in disguise for LA and a fuse for Gasol's and Odom's fire...Now if we don't land Dwight I'll be upset because I can't stand Bynum...CAN"T STAND HIS ASS

acquiring paul would give the lakers a clear successor. if i were the lakers, i would do it just for the long term benefit of having the best PG in the world pretty much locked in for the next 5-6 years. this year.

This hurts the Hornets more than the Lakers. The Hornets had minimal leverage and this was the best deal they were going to get. The owners screwed them because they didn't want Paul to go to the Lakers. Bull .

I'm just as stiff in my rejection for Howard. He's a project. No thanks. We already wasted 3 years of Bryant's prime ing with projects. Howard is a square peg in a business of round holes. Let somebody else pay for it. I wouldn't trade any of those three for him (Odom, Bynum, or, Gasol).

Without him we don't beat the Celtics in '10. Just remember that. And don't forget it. It's easy now to dismiss him because he failed this past Spring. But, he dragged that leg thru the '10 playoff session when Perkins sat on his ass because he couldn't go.

& in the '09 Finals he held Howard to one dunk in The Finals.

    Your forget too quick, Kool.

The way to make the Hornets attractive to owner-to-be-named-later is to trade for cap space next season and draft picks.

Scola's deal doesn't fit the blueprint.

So the Hornets are not allowed to get better as team? Can you take off your Spur homer glasses for a second and realize what a massive conflict of interest we have here?

This hurts the image of the league badly. A horrible precedent is being set here.

The mechanics of the deal are not egregious. Gasol is an All-Star, Odom was 6th man of the year, the Lakers essentially gave away their frontcourt in the deal. , the original Gasol trade was far less balanced IMHO.

he provided a big body that's it...Howard can do that and more....no one respects Bynum but they wouldn't even want to with Howard....Bynum is too boring for me...he's a poor man's Tim Duncan and that's saying something

wrong...no one will pay to see that team perform on the heels of losing Paul...the offer that was on the table was an offer that would have enticed any potential owner...MJ and Gilbert led a coalition of jealous s

The overriding goal is finding an owner for the team.

    Sucks for Dell.

    And the Lakers.

    And lakerfan.

    Quelle dommage.

You saying Howard can do it is light years away from him actually doing it. He's never done it in 7 seasons. Bynum already did it twice.

And the players say they don't want to with Howard for the cameras, then take his pants down every chance they get.
