the fact VC never played hard is because he never played for a true contender. dude never sensed the actual possibility of winning the championship the years before, now he has joined mavs he'll be more ambitious than other mavs who had rang in the 10-11 season

losing TC is a true upset but if we could sign a decent replacement or if we could revive brendan and make him work again we're still a contender. VC is way past his prime but he still has alot to provide imho and his ambition would be some valuable factor to add to this team
