It just ain't fair if those gots get Billups and Dalembert
For teams considering claim on Chauncey Billups, he tells Y!: "A leader can be as disruptive as he can be productive..This is about me now."
Billups: "People take my kindness and professionalism for weakness. They think I’ll be OK with (getting claimed). I won’t be OK with this."
Billups wants freedom to choose team. Warns those who'd claim him: You'll regret it. "I'm tired of being the glue guy." Story soon on Y!

they won't
I would be ok with Billups if he accepts a backup role. I don't want this to stunt Chalmers growth.
what growth? his numbers have regressed every single season he's been in the league. dude ain't nothin special.
He is clutch and a much better defensive player than Billups.
He's clutch because he hit a few shots last playoffs? Sorry, but chalmers isn't a starting quality player on a winning team.
If finally Paul-Bryant-Howard endend in LA then I hope Miami get more talent.....
NBA would suck anyway but a few less
He was clutch in college as well. Chalmers can hit the 3 and is a damn good defensive player. Billups can hit the 3 and run the offense better, but that 2nd advantage isn't needed with Bron and Wade.
Chalmers is a better fit for the Heat than Billups.
Lakers aren't getting Howard. They will probably land CP3, but that is it.
Billups won't make anyone better, he's no better than Mike Bibby tbh.
They wouldn't be able to trade him until July 1st per a report from Larry Coon.
Miami shooters are always wide open....that's something new for Billups
Plus he's a better leader than Bibby and Chalmers together........at least in Detroit
Chalmers also isn't nearly the ball handler and wouldn't make as sound decisions handling the ball in late game moments. Billups is the better distributor and it's a no contest who you would want running the point in the 4th quarter.
Clutch? Yeah, what a tough shot that was in game 2 when Jason Terry wasn't within 20 feet of him.
It's hilarious that all the aspects of the CBA that were to help ensure "compe ive balance" are blowing up in Stern's face.
Christ cubby, All these trade talks and your all hyped.
...I'm as nervous as a sissy at Boy's Town.
This guy the bed in every post-season besides 2004.
It's a good signing for Miami, but still. They're the favorites to win it with or without him.
He's so damn good defensively even Peurtorican Wonderboy had problems properly ting on him!![]()
