So wait, they'd have Chris Paul, Chauncey Billups, AND Ninja Turtle (even though M-Will is more of a two guard anyways.)?
That Minny pick is huge, Hornets are gonna be stacked in the next draft.
That deal is even better than the lakers and rockets one -_-
Interesting that they gave up Eric Gordon.. would have thought he was untouchable for them.
Clippers will be pretty fun to watch, BR can breath easy now.
they gave up eric gordon? that's ing stupid.
he's 23, has great production and both his knees work
clippers starting lineup:
C - DeAndre Jordan
PF - Blake Griffin
SF - Caron Butler
SG - ???
PG - Chris Paul
who will play sg? billups?
Yeah, my initial opinion is that this is a highway robbery in favor of the hornets.
hmmmm......Wonder if Bledsoe is available now?
Hornets ripped them off IMO.
LOL I think I might want Stern to be the owner of my team after this heist.
Not really. The Laker/Houston trade made them much more compe ive today. The Clippers trade has the POSSIBILITY to be stronger years from now.
Lmao @ ty lakers getting owned
You laker s keep quoting 5-4 because you aint winning![]()
the hornets just butt ed the clippers. i'd be pissed if i were eric gordon too
The Hornets just lost CP3 and David West they will be the new CLippers for decades...you guys severely overrating those garbage players they received...it's no surprise the bar is obviously set low in SA
I think both teams made off well in this trade. But seriously though, Chris Paul with Blake Griffin? That is gunna be a very, very dangerous duo...
You got owned by Stern, now shut the up. Move along.
Yeah, really.
I guess it depends on how you look at it. The lakers/rockets deal definitely gave them a strong team for the upcoming season.
But the clipper deal is definitely better for the long haul. Kaman will expire away, Gordon is a fantastic prospect to have and Dwight lookalike is whatever. They'll suck this year but they'll have 2 high draft picks in one of deeper drafts in recent years. On top of that they keep their salary low.. I would definitely take this deal over the lakers one from the perspective of someone who works for the hornets management or a potential buyer.
As a basketball fan obvious CP3 on the lakers would have been better though..
Much better than the other trade. If I were a Hornets fan I would be really happy with this deal. Clippers fans may have mixed feelings.
Stern did us favor...I was totally not expecting CP3 anyway...that would have just been icing on the cake. As far as I'm concerned there's no team out West I see getting past us...Can you legitimately pick a team to beat LA in the west...no you can't
gordon was the only piece in the deal that the clippers wanted to keep. aminu, kaman, and the pick will be meaningless with the current roster. good trade for both sides. clippers got to keep bledsoe apparently but i dunno how long he will stay on the team.
