if you're gonna be running on public streets, don't wear headphones. you need to be able to hear things like cars and dogs.
I'm looking to get some sport headphones or earbuds, no preference, that will be great for running and working out. That means they must be sweat-proof or waterproof and be able to stay on or in your ear while working out. I searched the threads here and didn't find anything specific. Anyways, I want to stay below the $75 range. I've looked on Amazon and Best Buy through reviews and I can't find anything that stands out. I saw Sennheiser makes pretty good ones but can't pinpoint the best. Any opinions on this would be awesome.

No, definitely. This is for primarily gym use but most of the sport headphones they make today take that into account and are not fully enclosed so you can hear your surroundings as well as the music.
I like Sony Walkman earphones for working out. They're the only ones that stay in my ears consistently.
I just got a pair of Bose IE2 Earbuds and they are awesome! They are comfortable and have three different sizes to match your ears. And it goes without saying that they sound amazing.

Don't get the klipsch s4 if you're thinking of getting them. I've had them for a year already and they sound great but if I use them for running I have to adjust them several times. I bought a sony walkman and the earphones that came with the walkman do a good work staying in the ear like tlong said. I even think they sound better than the klipsch.

really good audio quality as well
I just use my regular ones at the gym. They're all funky shaped so you've gotta make sure to put 'em in the right ear..but I've used these since I started working out last year. I haven't any trouble with them getting extra sweaty or slipping off. I'd rather spend money on shoes and pretty tops than headphones though.
The Best love them

I usually spend top dollar on my earphones EXCEPT for the pair I work out/ride (mountain biking) with. I just get a $20 pair of buds that have the hook over the ear, otherwise they tend to not stay in.
Those yurbuds look enticing though.
but tbh it the yurbuds look like plain ol' Apple earbuds with a little silicon condom over them...
Gonna check these out![]()
I bought these a little over a month ago, great for on the bike and they stay in my ears:

cuz the season started and the Spurs are in first, I won't start a new thread. But what is the concensus on Beats? I've heard them at the stores and they sound great. But are they any better than top-end Bose or Sony?
if you have the capability do bluetooth headphones b/c you won't have to worry about pulling on the wires when you're working out. My best quality headphones (sound reduction, bass, volume, staying on my ears, etc) were some LG bluetooth enabled headphones. They were durable as (except for that time when my 4 year-old got a hold of them).
Kind of yes but you will be shocked they not only lock in so they don't come out you can yank the cord. They also work as a funnel and that only lets the sound from them into your ear.
Overpriced as , you're paying for the logo, but they do sound pretty damn good.
Thanks, I'll check them out. Look like a good solution.

Little pricey, but I used them for 2 years now. They cancel out the terrible music my gym plays, but I can still hear if people try and talk to me kinda. Good bass, comfortable (comes with like 5 different bud sizes) and reliable. I take them in the sauna after every work out, which kills most earbuds after a while, but mine are still playing like day1.
I got some of these for Christmas

I love them. The sound is insane and the ear hooks mean they don't fall out when I workout.
Only downside is the size of them, but I'm not at the gym to look good, I'm there to workout lol
Another downside is the 150.00 they sell for.![]()
yeh but as a gift I didnt need to worry about the price

Does anyone burn-in their headphones before using them?
You mean using them?
