Maybe, but they clear a lot of money if this is true. Problem is it's all for nothing since the big names are gone in FA next year. It gives them a ton of flexibility though.

The Mavs have put A LOT of chips in the "signing Dwight Howard" basket. Hard for me to believe they'd be the 3rd team to facilitate a trade where Howard goes to a new team and signs an extension.

I don't see how it's ty for the Mavs all that much. Only having to dump Marion and Jones to get rid of Haywood? Okur can't be that much worse than Haywood and JJ is better than Jones and they clear up a ton of cap space. Now, the big 3 FA's are off the market, but it still gives them a ton of flexibility.

There's no doubt that classless piece of trash did it to with the Lakers. I've said it before and I'll say it again. People would rather see the Lakers lose than their OWN team win.

Not only did the league get together to prevent us from getting Paul, but now we have to deal with this bull . The league revolves around us whether you like it or not and wants to keep us from winning. It's amazing we've won so many rings DESPITE the league conspiring against us.
