    Good interview.

He said that he picked SA to win it before the series started, but he thinks that Detroit can win all three games at home, but still lose in long series.

He says that Manu is the perfect face for marketing the NBA on a global level and that he deserves all the accolades he is getting because he truly is a great player. Fish went on to say that Tony and Manu are to TD what Magic was to Kareem, in that they bring the youth and enthusiasm to the Spurs that will allow TD to keep winning w/o having to carry the team year after year.

He also taked about Rodman and how smart a bball player he was and all the stuff that he learned from him, like pick and roll tips and such.

Great interview. He was very interesting, knowledgable, well spoken and funny.

I already forgave him for his 0.4 shot, he was just doing his job, can't hate him for that forever.

I do not blame Buckner at all.

He would not have thrown out Mookie anyway, had he snagged that grounder, people never see that.

Buckner had no business playing anyway, considering the way his knee was injured to the point, he was virtually playing on one leg.

Buckner was a scapegoat and he was treated like for it....I am ashamed of Red Sox Nation for it too...but I still love my Sox.

yeah .04 was brutal. (maybe thats why he's being so nice) i think even he knows that .04 was bs laker treatment. phil jackson wont ever let him say it though... there's probably a clause in his will... along with another already writen book slamming kobe and the spurs first championship - to be released after his death or expiration of his latest laker contract. (whichever kobe makes happen first)

all i remember is him and kobe crying after we beat them 2003. that was funny.

Compared to Kobe, Shaq, Fox, etc. From lakers, Fish and Horry were the only good people to me.

    People... it's 0.4 not .04

I stopped correcting people on that last year. For some reason a lot of people always say .04

Fisher has never been an ahole like the rest of the Lakers...and he was as big a part of their les as any role player ever has been on any le team.

Pop wanted to sign Fisher badly during the 2000 offeseason..bigtime. Too bad he didn't, because Fisher lighting us up for 18 a game shooting 70% from 3 cost us dearly in that series.

Oh..and Fisher made that shot in .4. Clutchest shot in NBA history IMO.

yeah i had .4 but read the top post again and thought... makes sense... cause even if it had been .04, it would have still counted.

Well, if Fisher made that shot in .04, he deserves all the accolades he gets and then some.

Although....I think I may have typed ".04" in a different thread a week or so ago...

I could never get around to hating Fisher, with Kobe, Shaq, Mr. Vanessa Williams, and "snake eyes" Devin George in the way.

I wouldn't be adverse to the Spurs signing him, but I don't see how they could do it without screwing the team/contracts up.

You gotta point...but I'd still rather he not have been on the Lakers in 2001. That was utter humiliation and he was big reason for it.
