Tell us, swaggerjackson, what player trades would you like to propose?
I am not jumping on the trade manu bandwagon any time soon, but do you guys think we should at some point surrender some of our depth on the wing to gain another serviceable big? I thought we were loaded at the start of the season but now with the emergence of green we will really be flooded with capable wing players. After manu comes back do you think they should look to trade? I think regardless of the record the same problems exist from last season. And Blair looks great but in a perfect world he would come off the bench to provide a scoring and rebounding spark. His defense is awful. I don't know who we would throw out as trade bait or who would be available, but in general I am asking if this team continues to win like this through the regular season would you stick with it or try to tweak it?

Not that this is all due to Blair (or not), but dating back to last season, Spurs are now 57-14 when Blair starts.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
There are a lot more good players for the positions 2-3 than there are good 4s and 5s. Generally, if you rank players on a 100 scale, a team would be willing to trade you a big that is a 60 for a wing that is an 80. Not a plus transaction, imho.
Thank you.
We'll never know what would have happened vs the Grizzlies.
We do for a fact know what did happen.
We suck. There are so many dead weights on this team.
Bonner, Anderson, Blair, Green, Diogu etc. etc. All are a waste of space.
Trade Tony, Blair, Bonner and Anderson
to Phoenix for
Steve Nash and Lopez/Gortat
Stevie is a living legend, one of few in the league alongside timmy, let's give him that ring. He'd breath new life into Duncan, RJ, and pretty much everyone around him.
To add to that... A line from Phoenix's last game.
Nash: 10 points & 17 assists (shooting 5 from 7)
Gortat: 18 points & 7 rebounds + 3 blocks + 2 steals (shooting 9 from 10)
Get those two mofo's to san antonio!
Minn is loaded on the frontline and could use a wing player.
What?
Michael Beaseley
Derrick Williams
Wes Johnson
JJ Barea
Wayne Ellington
Martell Webster
+ Ridnour playing thw two with Rubio at times
If anything they have way too many wings and should do a trade for a big.
Are Derrick Williams and Michael Beasley not more like tweener PFs than SFs? I have no idea what the conversation's about other than the wing thing, I'm just saying.
get rid of bonner and the roster balances quite nicely...or get a traffic cone in a spurs jersey and you would still be a lot better than now...
bonner= another failed season
Yes Beasley is more suited to play PF and Williams is also listed as PF.
Ridnour Barrea and Rudio are all pgs. They are loaded at PF/C and Pg and thin with true wing players.
