things known to the non-homers
...For fans of college football uneasy with the matchup to begin with, though, this was a dud of a conclusion.
Little action. A dearth of big plays. Missed field goals and a missed extra point. Sloppy play. Just one late-game touchdown. Tepid offensive play-calling. You name it and it was on display.
Sometimes, there’s beauty in an ugly game. For anyone who isn’t a Tide fan, this wasn’t one of those times....

Number of "Anybody know how to post videos to facebook?" commercials > LSU first downs.
Normally when I watch a game I can find one side to root for. Then along comes an LSU-Alabama national le contest.
Same with that commercial where the plane lands in the bed of a truck. That commercial probably ran three times for every 1 LSU first down.
hyeah the only people that enjoyed watching this game were gots like DesignatedT who were just so gosh darn proud of their conference![]()
+1
I guess the NCAA can't say every game counts in the regular season, if you are going to allow non-division champs and a rematch to occur in the le game.
The good thing is that we probably won't get force-fed any more all-SEC le games after that abortion yesterday.
The only way the possibility gets taken away is if they change the bcs rules.
That might happen now.
Hope so, but considering who runs college football, I'm not holding my breath
With a +1, we are more likely to see all-SEC le games.
I wouldn't either. At best I think we'd get a four team playoff series, but they could conceivably make things worse as well.
As it is, the BCS is ruining college sports as a whole.
My wish would be to cut out about 40+ schools from FBS level football.
The idea is to win the game. That's all there is, all there has ever been, and all that will ever be.
Everything else is for Media.
& you quit.
Football fans aren't part of Media.
Thank you.
No prob
Sadly, well not sadly, A&M will never be one of those teams.
