Romney didn't seal the deal and Gingrich once again showed he is a master debater. No question about it. Paul did well but it simply is not his stage so he won't gain anything from tonight but the Newt is here to stay.
I was surprised how blatantly they ignored the outer edges of stage. This was mostly tame after the beginning except for Romney at the beginning and Santorum at the end.
Ron Paul owned them when he talked about about what a conservative should be.
Not hard to do, considering 90% of the GOP doesn't have the slightest inkling of what being conservative means.
A true conservative does not support war mongering and policing the world.
Why can't Ron Paul run as a 3rd party candidate? I'd love to see him piss off the Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly types. Or why can't voters wake up and realize that Ron Paul actually wants to help people and has his own ideas and doesn't pander just to get votes?

Newt Gingrich wants another Cold War with Cuba
The 3 a.m. phone call has struck again. In tonight's GOP primary debate, NBC anchor Bryan Williams asked the candidates what they would do if told that Fidel Castro had finally died and "half a million Cubans" were on their way to the United States. Mitt Romney's hair mumbled something about "thank heavens" el comandante had met his maker. Newt Gingrich, meanwhile, quipped that Fidel would be burning in instead. Then he went all Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy on the debate.
"A Gingrich presidency will not tolerate four more years of this dictatorship," he said, adding that he would use covert operations like Reagan did against the Soviet Union. Break out the exploding stogies, boys! With Newt now leading by nine points in the Sunshine State, another Cold War could soon be dawning.

This was the scene driving to the University of South Florida Republican primary on Jan 23rd, 2012. It was all Ron Paul supporters everywhere with the exception of two people for Newt Gingrich who held a sigh which read "Freddie and Fanny for Newt Gingrich"
