Anyways, good series so far, nice game back in d-town on sunday. Bob struck again lol. I hope to watch a good game tonight, hostile area? maybe i dno, you guys got good fans and a nice arena. I Dont want a blow out thats for sure, and hopefully it stays close throughtout tonight. I see us winning this one (being a lil bias maybe yes) but to lose how we did on sunday we should have some fire otherwise thats pretty pussy like .
I'm not coming here to bash, you guys have a solid team and some underrated players that dont get respect. But the pistons are exactly the same. Dont say the media wants us to win, did u watch the ECF against miami, the commentators and everyone were doubting us. We are underdogs a lot, IMO were underdogs in this series.
To say we have a bad announcer is crazy tho, if you went to the pistons games that guy gets everyone hyped up and makes everything that much better. Our so called "corny", "gay" isnt really gay, ur just not fans, im pretty sure you guys have some types of stuff that other fans wouldnt get like Fear the fro.....etc...
Anyways enough with the Bashing, we both support our teams, lets give respect and leave it at that. Hopefully we have a good clean game. Good luck!

Personally I don't care about announcers...I could do without either team's PA guy. For me...its all about the basketball. Also, you can't villify a whole fan base for the actions of one dumbass. Spurs fans back in the day had their share of incidents as well.
I never got any of this bragging thing. Its not like we as fans not at the game have anything to do with the outcome of the game. People go around saying HAHAHA my team is better than yours. But realistically, we dont effect the results of the game much. Anyone can become fan of any team, so how should you deserve credit for liking the winning team. If your a true fan, you like the team when they wear Ugly ass uniforms and have Jerry Stackhouse on thier team.
And whats the purpose of going onto another board and posting. I'm only on here because im procrasting from cutting the grass. Its childish and proves nothing. And if its a good board, most spam posts will be deleted.
I just wanted to say good luck to the Spurs, I just want a good series regardless of who wins. It looks like the Spurs fans are good since the team has such a good home record.
And I'd like to leave with this, Manu Ginobili is overrated. If he played for the Spurs, Pistons, Hawks, Bobcats, Wildcats, Dogcats, watever he's overrated. Not because he's not a good player, but because he gets too much credit. He's like the "sexy" pick. Duncan is THE best PF in the game, maybe best when he retires. Point Blank the Spurs are built around him. Ginobili would be just an average player if it wasn't for Timmy and Coach Pops.
He's had some really good playoff games this year and he's getting a lot of media attention. He's the kind of player that the media like to focus on because of his style of play.
He wasn't to overrated to be picked by other coaches for the All-Star team.

Ginobili overrated?! If you think Manu is overrated, then 3/4 of your starting line-up is overrated.
If he is overrated, then pistons shouldn't doubleteam him. Or they do because he is sexy???

TD is still our best player, no doubt about it. He is the one who doesn't get enough credit.
Pistons and Spurs are the best teams in the league, don't underrate your enemy, because it makes your own victories seem smaller.

And I wouldn't say Ginobili is overrated, but I think it's fair to say that he's come back to earth in this series.
Ginoboli will never be a consistent #1 option IMO, its just not in him to do that. I don't know many #2 options that get as much hype from some that he does. I mean hes a of a player, and definately way above average...but Superstar? I'm not so sure.

I agree, and in Game 1 we certainly saw a huge flash for that. That was a brilliant 4th quarter performance. Most players have superstar flashes though, I mean even Lindsey Hunter had one in game 4. Its just doing it on a regular basis which seperates the superstars from the all-stars.he has flashes of superstar though....tonight would be a good night for it.

I dig the most of the Detroit fans posting here. Your team definetly has game, just not enough. But for the most part, there are some solid people posting here from Detroit.

Manny, I would pass that compliment back to the San Antonio fans. At first, I figured I'd just come on this board, see what the opposition is saying and fire back a few shots, but there's some quality on this board. Just like every other board though, you do have to wade through the sludge to get to some of it. It happens everywhere.
