Problem as I hear it is they are on slightly different pages. Mitch wants to hold onto Pau and see if they can package him with Bynum to get Dwight. Buss wants to move Pau now for help/depth and thereby also eliminate the chance that his pet project, Bynum, goes anywhere. That's the unofficial buzz.

What's the point for the Orlando FO of trading Dwight for Bynum? It's not like they can build a compe ive team around him anyway. These are the types of moves that keep teams stuck in mediocrity for years with a bunch of average players good enough to prevent you from getting high picks and s ing out bad contracts but bad enough for anything more.
No, you gotta go OKC's way. They really bottomed out, Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis everything was gone except Nick Collison. They did that previous to the 07 Draft. They were in the 2011 West CF with a team full of talent due to three consecutive high draft picks. Unless you are the Lakers that's the way for everyone else, including big market teams.

Why do you suggest Pau for Williams and then use a quote that says Kupchak would be trying to trade both Bynum and Pau for Howard? Even the Lakers can't trade Pau Gasol to two different teams at the same time.
