Letter from Tim Duncan to Dwight Howard
This letter is ing re ed. McGrady was the consolation prize when Tim turned Orlando down; there is no way they could have landed all three of Hill, Duncan, and McGrady. Ben Wallace would have been renounced if Detroit didn't want to do the sign and trade and Chauncey Billups was a ing Nugget who signed as a free agent with Minnesota before going to Detroit 2 years later.![]()
Ok small details. I thought it was a good read.
We can always dream right?![]()
This was a fun read! Its a nice idea. I dont have my hopes up. but there was some good truths in this cleaver article. Nice to see Slam recognizing Tim and the Spurs. I stopped reading Slam a long time ago, because they never respected San Antonio. Good read, they get brownie points from me.
That's it - c'mon Dwight. Tim can be your David Robinson. Bonner and R.J. can be your... well, sucky teammates that earlier Spurs team didn't even have.
lol Doc Rivers costing the magic one of the best players to ever play
loved these commercials.. "the roses are out of bounds." "no the gnome is out of bounds."
nice concept but execution. letter needs to read more like Duncan and less like a 15yo internet sports geek.
i just tweeted the link to Dwight and asked him to read and consider it haha
We should all do that, tbh... Maybe we can be better recruits than the team.

Of course he'll read it but he'll know TD didn't have anything to do with that and just pass it off.
I wish him the best wherever he ends up, but there is a tough lesson that all 20-somethings should learn, and I hope he learns this before it's too late:
YOU MIGHT GET WHAT YOU WANT, BUT YOU MIGHT NOT WANT WHAT YOU GET.
See: Anthony, Carmello
That's an excellent example!!
pretty sure the turd only wanted to play for the money and limelight of NY, nothing else...winning and delivering is the last thing on his mind
That seems to be the case with a lot of these star players. Also, he proved that he can't carry a team when he did that. I have a feeling we might see the same thing from Dwight Howard if he goes to New Jersey or Dallas.
you know pop would be throwing splitter right off the bat and keeping bonner so i know you guys call me crazy but tiago is EINSTEIN compared to Dwight and really maybe hes not the greatest defensive center but to me hes an all around better quality big . His ENERGY is all Positive and im sorry but Dwights isnt now if we could get away with having splitter there as well oh my ..... id definitely do it
