    When's the last time a team won the NBA Finals without a superstar in their prime
    Allen, Pierce, and KG were not in their prime in 2008. Right out of it and they were still great players but none of them were at their peak.

    I would say Pierce was in his prime but Allen and KG were definitely in decline.

    Yep, misread the prime part. Still, Pierce should be considered to of been in his prime. He was only 30.

    Well Pierce was more clutch than most superstars during their run. He was every bit as good during the championship as he was bad when they were a chucking lottery team.
