I forgot Manu was still on this team, tbh..
If tonight proved anything, it was that we won't go anywhere without our REAL best player in Manu. HE is the only one who can single-handedly take this team to the top as long as he's healthy. Unfortunately, that's a big IF right now.
I forgot Manu was still on this team, tbh..
The facepalm should be towards TP's performance against Rose, who was coming off a tiring back-to-back game.
I was gonna use the image, but yeah..this works.
This is an overreaction, but they will need him come playoff time for sure! They need him at a somehwat high level as well to get anywhere, thats for certain and we all know that.
funny how myopia causes people to focus on a small sample size (this season) to completely bury what Manu's meant to us throughout his career.
CoM coming out of the shadows again
In what way is it an overreaction? You think there's no way Manu has proven to be the team's best player since '07? That's out of the realm of possibility for you?
I'm actually new here, what or who is CoM?
No, to me he is our best since then, but Parker this year has done a fine job! Still both of them healthy is what we need! Top two players IMO on this team and Tim a close third behind them. Manu when healthy is a beast! I just wish he could stay healthy for a run again. I am a huge Manu fan.
Oh, ok. I was just worried I was the only one here who realized what Manu really means to this team.
Cant comeback soon enough tbh.
Not my troll, tbh... Kori can confirm..
Ahh yes, the mythical basketball god that is healthy Manu Ginobilli.
Um.... Did you forget he did come back. And sucked. Sadly, I think this is gonna be one of those situations where we look back and say....manu was never the same after that hand injury back in 2012.
Hmmm...
Remember when he came back in the 09-10 season from injury and people said he was done? Even thought extending him wasnt worth it? Then in the second half of that same season was probably a top 5 player in the league and led us to our only playoff series win in the past 3 yrs.
He broke his hand, wasnt even in game shape either at the beginning of the season, you can't expect him to dominate right away, he also looked pretty damn good coming back from his surgery.
Our teams best player showed up in the 3rd qtr of the bulls game. TD will have to be the spurs best player on the court for the spurs to win another championship. He's showing flashes which is something i thought was behind him. Get everyone healthy, build a little chemistry, who knows what this team could do. Imagine if we had Manu and Leonard out there instead of Bonner and Jefferson the other night. C'mon manu, rub some dirt on it and get the out there already. It's time.
Do you think we're going anywhere without TP??
We're going nowhere without either Tim Tony or Manu, Period.
Parker is the best player on the team.
only due to the inability of his teammates to make shots when it matters. Tony drives and dishes out to wide open players who miss and miss, allowing teams to camp out and manhandle him. It's not all his fault.
