The Verge just reported that they received an invite from Apple for an iPad 3 introduction to be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco at 10am PST, on Wednesday, March 7.

So is it just an iPad 2 but with a better processor?
Allegedly quad core, 4G, and a retina display if the rumors are to be believed. I get $250 off towards one on top of my 25% discount in June, so I may be very interested at those prices![]()
This might make my decision between a new iPad or a new Macbook very difficult.
Glad I didn't get that iPad 2 last month tbh. Probs pick this up on release.
still stuck with the same icons since 07
not only icons. their whole experience is 5+ years old.
they have been left in the dust by Android/Windows.
How can the experience be 10+ years old when iPads were first introduced in 2010, and iPhones in 2007?
And if the "experience" is so old, why did every other company start churning out copycat tablets after the iPad was released?
my bad I meant 5.
Sorry that is just my opinion. IOs is ancient. The fact that Apple has to go through a process similar to ammending the cons ution in order to change the shade of one of their icons is their undoing.
again, IMHO
I already used my MacBook EPP on my sister. Air next year![]()
You can jailbreak and make your own icons if you please.
Its official. Lefty can't spell![]()
Dude. MacBook, hands down. If you got the grip.
He gets confused with decimal points. Of course he'll get confused making an icon.
same thing with the new samsung galaxy 2 4G version...nothing special
man i need a new fkn phone
None of the Galaxy models, tablet or phone, currently have quad core processors.
That will change, soon, and LONG before the iPad 4 is announced.
b4 u clowns get all humpty dumpty
do you really need 4cores?
Left in the dust? Last time i checked they are still driving the tablet market without a compe or that has even 10 percent market share for a single model in this niche.
I would hope so. I was pretty surprised they hadn't pushed one out already, phone or tablet.
HTC one is quad. Ipad 3 is rumored to be too.
The Transformer Prime released in December is quad. Haven't seen any quad-core phone yet though.
