Ya,I saw that the other day.What gets me is that every cd they put out is never like any of the others.
They always do that, for some odd reason. They however make some good music regardless how much they change. I prefer their old albums more though.

Anyone else notice that the band's music increasingly became more dependent on Boyd's voice to carry the songs? Starting with ACLOTM, if you turn the music into instrumentals they started getting boring. I'm not saying it's awful, just predictable. Good band, were probably my favorite in high school along with Glassjaw.

Although they got it wrong in claiming the idiot box was the TV. It was actually the computer. (see Facebook)
Incubus seemed to do things backward. You do the same thing first, get the hit then evolve and make a cd that's diverse. Incubus did SCIENCE which was diverse and out there. Make Yourself was a change, which wasn't too bad. But when Morning View came out, it was the same thing. It's like they found the formula that made them famous and stuck with it.
Take a band like Deftones. Their newer stuff is too, but at least it's a departure from what got them there.
Basically, if you're going to put out, make sure it's different every time.
They need to stop making music... one of my favorite bands when I was in high school, but the talent starts at S.C.I.E.N.C.E. and ends in Morning View... everything since then has been horrid. Of the 2 songs posted so far.... the first one sucks and the second is bland and predictable alt. radio music.

You are wrong about the new Deftones album (or newest that is), they sound like they did back in the 90's...a bit heavier.
Disagree, a lot of bands change their style over the years. That doesn't mean they lack talent.
Light Grenades had some good offerings

Dig and Love Hurts are a couple of my favorites
Incubus has unsuccessfully changed their style over the years. They lack the talent or drive to do so... coming from someone who idolized the band at a time in the past, and still listens to their music. They're a lesser example of the degression of Weezer.
