honestly this was probably the best decision Brown has made the entire year. Kobe would have just chucked away even more opportunities for the Lakers to catch up anyways.

Kobe does know that so he says just enough to get his point across. When you say "I cannot question his decisions" you aren't saying you support him, but quite the opposite. It's like saying "what do you think".

Kobe would have been traded a long ass time ago for some decent, coachable talent. He's not really a franchise level player, just a face and at ude with some real talent that's overblown. Tracy McGrady 2.0 to be exact. Works fine if you have a couple bigs and some big guns outside to do the work for him.
